Local Bands @ Aquadome

 Michael Ambrosia and J. Mike Hunsaker (Simple Machine) will be performing at the Aquadome at 7 tomorrow night. These are two local artists that play pop/electropop music; 3OH!3, La Roux, and Ke$ha are electropop artists.

I haven't seen these guys perform yet, but I found Michael Ambrosia's webpage where you can check out his music. I actually enjoyed listening to some of his tracks, they really surprised me.

Itchin' for some Grillin'

Can anyone else not believe that it's October right now? There have been recent years when it was snowing at this time, but I've been able to wear shorts and a t-shirt almost everyday. The weather is beautiful and the fall foliage is as well. 

I was talking to some friends that regularly bike in Thousand Hills State Park. They said that it was gorgeous looking last week. Weather.com  is showing promising weather for this Saturday and Sunday (high 60's and sunny), so it may be a good time to check out Thousand Hills before the snow starts to fall.

This weather really makes me want to grill, so I figured I would suggest that you pick up a few supplies from Walmart and have a little cookout by the lake. That is, if the weather is as good as is predicted.
