Local Bands @ Aquadome

Michael Ambrosia and J. Mike Hunsaker (Simple Machine) will be performing at the Aquadome at 7 tomorrow night. These are two local artists that play pop/electropop music; 3OH!3, La Roux, and Ke$ha are electropop artists.

I haven't seen these guys perform yet, but I found Michael Ambrosia's webpage where you can check out his music. I actually enjoyed listening to some of his tracks, they really surprised me.

Bio

I'm a Sophomore at Truman State University studying Journalism and Marketing. I'm an active member of Beta Theta Pi, the Bike Co-Op, and last year I was a member of Missouri Hall Senate.

Last year I found that many of my fellow students could not keep themselves occupied over the weekends without movie marathons or excessive amounts of video games. I wanted more out of my weekends!

I've lived in small towns all my life, so I was used to having to actively seek entertainment rather than it being as readily accessible as it is in places like St. Louis and Kansas City. Eventually I also started to take advantage of the older members of the organizations I was in to get ideas and suggestions on how I may keep my friends and myself entertained. Being a member of the Missouri Hall Senate also helped as I got to participate in creating activities for over 400 students to do every other week.

After last year and this summer, I have plenty of ideas on how your weekends may be spent. The best part is that I keep finding more! I hope that most of the ideas I offer may be of as much help to you and your friends as it was to me!
