Oktoberfest, Concerts, and New Movies

What's the biggest thing going on in Kirksville this weekend? It's gotta be Oktoberfest! Truman State will be hosting this awesome festival on the Mall. If you don't know, the Mall is the area between Pickler Memorial Library and the Student Union Building.

The Mall
Oktoberfest offers FREE hotdogs, pretzels and rootbeer accompanied by live music, games, and prizes.

This weekend What's Your Number? will be premiering at the Kirksville Downtown Cinema Eight on Friday.

I'm not usually the guy to suggest that someone go see a romantic comedy, but after reading a few reviews on imbd, I'm convinced that this movie may break the mold of past movies of the genre. People described it as "hilarious and surprisingly moving." If you like romantic comedies or Anna Faris, I hope you get to see this one, I'll probably be taking my girlfriend to see it tomorrow.

Also, on Sunday, the Blue October will be playing at the Blue Note in Columbia, MO. Tickets are $24 for those 21 and over and $26 for minors. Check out Blue October's Vevo on Youtube for a taste of some of their best music.

Here are the directions.
